Thailand was Campus Outreach’s first international expansion in 1998. Since then, the team in Khon Kaen has become entirely Thai-led. In the last ten years, new teams have expanded to Chiang Mai and Udon Thani. LEAD Staff are needed to come alongside and support the Thai staff in Udon Thani and continue building on the efforts of the current LEAD Team in Chiang Mai.

Thailand is considered an unreached nation, with Buddhism being the most prominent religion. With less than one percent of Thais identifying as Christian, the need for laborers is great. Buddhist temples are in every city across the country, and people flock to them to honor their ancestors. For most, being Buddhist is synonymous with being Thai. It’s who they are and who their family has been for generations. Many Thais have never heard of Jesus or learned about His love for them. LEAD Staff in Thailand have the unique privilege of being the first Christian many Thais meet.
